Dr. Jones presented at the Contoocook Valley School Board (Contoocook, NH), in order to update the Board on the progress of its District-wide literacy change initiative. The District, with HILL support, turned around a school that had been designated by the department of education as "in need of improvement." |

Massachusetts DESE Literacy Improvement |
|
HILL Literacy Professionals attended Massachusetts Elementary and Secondary Education Department (DESE) regional meetings with HILL partner schools throughout the month, to collaborate with other DESE grant project recipients and to provide status updates on project planning. |
